David I. Witz practices immigration and real estate law at Witz Law P.A. David has practiced United States Immigration and Nationality law for over 15 years and real estate law for over 20 years. David is a member of the State Bars of New York and Florida and is licensed in South Africa. He is also a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and the Florida Bar Real Estate Section.
David received a Master of Laws degree in Comparative Law from the University of San Diego, CA, a Juris Doctor degree from Nova Southeastern University, FL., and his Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts degrees from the University of Cape Town, South Africa.
David has extensive experience in visitor and student visas, work (E, H, L, O, P & TN Visas), training visas, family based immigration, employment based immigration (EB-1, EB-2 and EB-3), perm, adjustment of status applications, consular processing of visas, the National Visa Center (NVC), naturalization, and represents clients before the Immigration Courts in CA, FL, MN, NY, TX and AL, in removal/deportation cases. David also represents clients in urgent stays of removal/deportation after a final order of removal, and in Appeals, Motions to Reopen, Waivers, Federal Court litigation and post-conviction vacation of criminal convictions where constitutional issues intersect with immigration and nationality law.
In his real estate practice, David focuses on transactional real estate matters representing local and international buyers and sellers in the purchase and sale of condos, co-ops and land transactions.
David has served as a director on the board of a 399 condo building in Miami Beach, FL. He has been an adjunct instructor in Public International Law, and has been interviewed by international publications on U.S. immigration issues.
